This FlushFit machine places touch controls along the top and uses a bar handle. The specification rates it for sixteen place settings at 46 dBA, with a separate cutlery rack, an adjustable upper rack and three wash arms. Those details matter when matching a basket, checking clearance or comparing this model with a simpler front-control LG: neither an ADA-height chassis nor a two-rack interior should be assumed from a similar photograph.
Read the floor lamp and top display
The appliance has two different ways to show status. The floor lamp pulses white during a running wash and stays white after completion until the door is opened. A flashing red floor lamp is the manual's warning to consult the error-code section. On the top panel, the numerical display normally shows an estimated duration or remaining time; that number alone is not a fault. The rinse-aid lamp can flash for replenishment, and the Tub Clean reminder has its own schedule. After pressing Start, close the door within four seconds or the cycle may not begin. At the normal finish, ENd appears for thirty seconds. Downloaded-cycle labels and CL also have defined, nonfault meanings. Disabling ordinary button chimes does not silence the error alert.
Match cycles, racks and options to the load
Five resident programs are specified: Auto, Heavy, Normal, 1 Hour and Downloaded. The dedicated 1 Hour setting targets lightly soiled dishes, but added choices can lengthen an actual run; the owner's option table explicitly allows a longer span when extras are selected. Dry Boost adds heated drying time. Steam and High Temp serve different wash needs, while the downloaded position defaults to P1 Tub Clean. Optional Express and Rinse downloads do not include drying, so wet dishes after either are poor evidence for a failed heater. The third cutlery rack can be removed for taller items in the upper rack, and the upper basket has three height settings. LG's specification lists estimated annual electricity and average cycle water use; real usage depends on soil, water and chosen options.
Trace inlet, drain, suds and leakage warnings
For an IE inlet warning, first verify the house tap and accessible inlet hose rather than ordering a valve on sight. OE points toward the outgoing path: inspect the drain hose, air gap or disposal and filters. These same two codes have a dedicated installation-check table, useful if the dishwasher has just been pushed into its cabinet and a hose may be pinched. The manual gives a twenty to eighty psi supply-pressure range. bE concerns oversudsing or poor leveling; hand-washing liquid is inappropriate, and only automatic-dishwasher detergent belongs in the dispenser. AE is different: LG identifies water leakage, instructs the owner to shut off water and seek service, and explains that its drain pump may run intermittently. Separate normal door opening from drying faults
Automatic door opening during drying is a normal feature of LDNTM545S. The owner guide says Auto Open Dry can move the door during the displayed cycle time; keep its path clear and allow hot air to escape safely. That behavior must be distinguished from F37, the table's automatic-opening motor fault. F31 is a separate heated-air fan-motor fault, while HE concerns the heater circuit; LE and NE concern wash and Vario motors. These internal conditions call for LG service, not an inferred replacement part based on damp plastic alone. The model includes Wi-Fi and SmartDiagnosis, but a photo of the actual characters, the floor-lamp color and the full LDNTM545S identifier makes a remote report more useful. A downloaded program label or CL should not be reported as a component failure.
